The Administrative Council (also referred to as the Church Council) serves as the primary decision-making body in a United Methodist congregation. It ensures that the church’s mission, ministries, and operations align with its purpose and vision. This team is responsible for strategic planning, financial oversight, ministry coordination, and governance.


What Does the Church Council Do?

🔹 Meeting frequency: At least quarterly, with special meetings as needed.

🔹 Leadership: The council is chaired by an elected leader and includes representatives from key ministries.
